Mario's - The Next Level
Started on September 1, 1971 in a quaint romantic place called Casa Mario’s along Session Road in Baguio City, Mario’s has become a popular name for many years, gaining loyal customers with its impeccable service and exquisite cuisine.
Today we are developing a new Mario's, to distinguish our leap to Mario’s…the Next Level, an innovative move we second generation scions are implementing. With our Casa Specials favorites and our New House Specials selections, it will be something new for our loyal regulars and attract the younger generation of dining aficionados. In Baguio, we have an al fresco area that will serve merienda items not found in Baguio, fine coffee selections and experience dining in the cool air of the mountains.
Mario's comfort food favorites like Oysters Rockefeller, Callos, Lengua, Bacalao, Salpicado, famous Steaks, Paella and our signature Caesar Salad are complimented by our New House Specials, a page in our menu that changes quarterly. This give our Chefs the opportunity to introduce new dishes like Pomelo Salad, assorted vegetables tossed with herbs, prawns in a Vietnamese salad dressing; Chilean Seabass in a miso mirin sauce and mango-pineapple salsa and Maki; Tuscany Platter, a trio of grilled beef tenderloin, Cajun Prawn and pan fried fish-fillet; Grilled Salmon, with an orange bourbon sauce; and Baby Back Ribs with Boston baked beans.
On Sunday’s, our Lunch Buffet feature our popular Cochinillo and Roast Beef carving station, salad choices and Caesar Salad, Sushi-Sashimi, two main dishes, pastas, Paella, freshly baked desserts and our Chocolate Fountain. A treat for family get-together’s.
Our wine list offers a selection of old world and new world varietals from different parts of the world and we add and replace some every quarter. Prices are reasonable as believe wine is synonymous with dining and need not be pricey. Our policy is “value for money” where Mario’s loyal customers and the younger generation will find a common ground in line with our goal to continue innovating a forty year legacy. As they say, there is nothing more permanent than change. That is what we at The Mario’s Group intend to accomplish in the next forty years.
